Joseph Jacket – Artist Management

Joe JacketJoseph Jacket has deep roots in the major label music scene.  He is well known for forming and managing the multi-platinum act, The Barrio Boyzz.  The group auditioned for chairman of EMI Records, Charles Koppelman, who signed the group to its sister label SBK Records.  With Joe’s keen sense of music business strategy and the raw talent of the group, they managed to reach top 20 on the Billboard charts, with several of their singles in both Latin countries, as well as the United States.
Joe accredits part of his strategic foundation and knowledge of the music industry to his friend and mentor Maurice Starr, better known for forming and producing the highly successful American pop groups, New Edition and New Kids on the Block.
